In the -I case, Der was the form of the article deN, and in the case of -E it was the form of the article deM die with the article of Der-Das. The same is true for second person singular pronouns. (er, sie, es)

Since only the article der changed in the -i case, it took the form er – ihN, and in the -e case it also changed according to the personal pronouns (der, die, das). The personal pronouns that change are placed at the end of the letter ih according to the case of the noun.
