A popular way to memorize words is to use mnemonics, which are mental shortcuts that help you remember more complex concepts or words. To learn more words faster, a best idea is to contextualize them: Instead of writing random lists of words, try to put them in sentences. That way, you know how the word is used in real life.
Movies, TV shows, books, podcasts or songs are not only great sources for the most common words, they can also help you memorize words. Being exposed to lots of English word pronunciations will make them easier to memorize.
Everyone learns differently, so if you don't know what works for you, try as many different ways as possible or try a combination of them. Flashcards, apps, lists, games or post-its are great ways to memorize words.
